History

 

Preferred IPA was founded in 1995 as a partnership between 80 physicians. We have since expanded to include close to 1000 contracted physicians throughout Los Angeles County.  We are currently contracted with some of the top HMOs in the country. We have grown to become one of the largest and most successful IPAs in Southern California.  Preferred IPA is a proud member of the prestigious California Association of Physician Groups, commonly known as CAPG.

Preferred IPA is fully owned by professional medical members.
